My husband and I had a commercial piece of property for sale for 7 years. It was an unusual piece of property and we knew it would appeal to a limited market and would not be an easy piece to market. We signed with 5 other realtors that were of the old, widely accepted establishment before contacting Michael. (Never assume because an agency is larger, of long standing, or better known that you will have better results…it is NOT necessarily so) He was the sixth realtor we tried. When we talked to him about the listing he was cautiously optimistic but seemed enthusiastic. He did things none of the other realtors did for us. He explained how he came up with a reasonable selling price, knowing it was lower than we wished to sell for, He actually had a plan to market and not just list the property. His communications during periods of inactivity were consistent and regular. When approached by potential buyers he was most cooperative, thorough, and timely in all areas of communications. His negotiation skills were excellent. He took the time to explain how the process worked, why we should negotiate and what was expected by the market as a whole from sellers in this current market. Yet he would advise us when we were willing to negotiate too much and tried to protect our profits as closely as he could. and not alienate the potential buyer. I have never dealt with a real estate agent as eager, personable, and efficient as Michael. Should I ever require a real estate agent to help me in the Wilson area, there will be no other choice but Michael Sealy.
